After months and months of tweaking and perfecting we’re very happy to announce that our new website is (as of this weekend) now live and online. We’re so excited to share this new direction with you all and hope that you love it as much as we do!! As of now this blog will be closed but you will be able to follow all our news and postings over here…. http://www.guciophotography.com/journal

One of the hardest parts of featuring our favorite images on the blog is narrowing down all of the photos we love to a select few… and in the case of Mandy and Karim, whose wedding spanned 14 hours and was filled with tons of tears and laughter, numerous outfit changes and both Chinese and Ismaili traditions, we could have literarily shared hundreds and still had a hard time encompassing the day. For now though let’s start at the beginning. Here are just a few of our highlights leading up to the reception. Hope you enjoy!! xo the gucio girls
by admin no comments It’s that time of year again when we’re working slowly making our way through a few thousand wedding images and as the end of wedding season approaches looking back at the last 5 months and all of the amazing weddings we’ve had the opportunity to document. The one thing that really stands out this past year is how absolutely different each wedding ends up being… It’s all the little personal details, the million and one little choices that get made during the planning process and most importantly the amazing personalities of the couples we work with that make every weekend something that we look forward to. Marcie and Rich’s wedding was the perfect example: not just because they hand crafted pretty much every single details or that they picked the perfect venue for their quirky style, but because of the dynamic energy they brought to their wedding day. In spite of the rain, their wedding day was one of the most energetic and happy days we’ve witnessed in quite a while. If the photos capture even an inkling of that, we’ll be very happy girls indeed. xo the gucios

These photos are just great! They seem to capture the authentic spirit of the wedding so well This wedding has been tucked away for a few weeks now as we lovingly put the finishing touches on all of Cathy and Roy’s photographs… but we’re very excited to finally be able to show off one of our favourite weddings from this season! I’m sure more then a few of you will remember from their fabulous downtown engagement session! These two are beyond adorable and really just make you smile as soon as you get near them. So it was fitting that their day had copious amounts of laughter mixed in. xoxo anna & kasia
by admin no comments Jeannette and Chris put together an amazing day that held so many beautiful personal touches that to note them all would produce a rather endless list Sweethearts since high school, Jeannette and Chris’s wedding was a long time coming and perfect in every way. Needless to say it was something magical to witness. Congrats again you two!! xoxo anna & kasia Hair – Sebastian 1 Salon by admin no comments A few weeks back we spent a beautiful sunny day in Kelowna with the lovely Emily and Cameron. Ever since Leah and Corry’s amazing wedding last summer we have been completely infatuated with the area in and around Kelowna! There is something magical that happens to the light up there so needless to say we were beyond excited when we met with Emily and Cameron about their wedding at the Kelowna Ranch – Twin Creek. Cameron and Emily put together a perfect day… everything from the homemade jam jars as favours to the gorgeous lawn filled with umbrellas, rugs and pillows for lounging (and the occasional napping guest) to an impromptu game of water football in the infinity pool. We’re so excited to share with you all a few frames from their beautiful day. xoxo anna + kasia

Love, love these. Great framing and tone. Beautiful people (and horses are pure bonus, I used to be obsessed). |
