Nadia + John {whistler wedding part II}

Our 2010 wedding season kicked off extra early this year with a mini road trip up to Whistler last weekend to document the nuptials of the lovely Nadia and John. Although ideally we do love to meet with our couples in person before the big day, it’s not always possible especially when they’re living abroad. Add in a different time zone and even getting together over the phone can become a bit of a challenge… which in some ways added to the air of mystery surrounding the entire event. :)

Heading up the mountain we knew that our bride was sweet (and stunning!), that the guest flying in were the closest of family and friends, and that the event was going to be beautifully orchestrated by Roxanne from Celebrate. When all was said and done though, we were still blown away by how gorgeous everything turned out. Enough rambling for now though and onto the photos…

Thank you so much for having us there! xoxo the gucio girls

Wooderson {winnipeg babies part II}

We started off with posting a few of our favorites of little Mischa… now for some of our top picks of her cousin Adam, otherwise known as “Wooderson” (yup, just like Matthew Mcconaughey’s character in Dazed and Confused. Here’s hoping that little Adam shares his dad’s sense of humour as he grows up… :)

To start with.. here are a few of our take on the Holiday themed baby photo. In lieu of santa hats and angel wings we decided to a bit more “rustic”. Quite literarily. So happy that Wooderson’s and Mischa’s parents were up for shoving their baby into a rusty old firewood bucket… My parents neighbors surely thought I was a bit insane digging through a couple feet of snow in their back yard looking for props, but it was well worth the effort! And it’s almost as good as the chunk of tree trunk that I attempted to drag inside but was forced to abandon halfway up the sidewalk. (New Year’s Resolution: do some push ups!) xoxo Kasia
